Our check-in process is fully online and designed for your convenience.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a secure link to complete your online check-in. As part of this process, you’ll be asked to upload a copy of your ID and pay the refundable security deposit securely before arrival.
Check-in is fully automated. Once your check-in is completed and the deposit has been received, you will be issued with a unique access code to enter the building and your apartment, allowing for a smooth and contactless arrival experience.
A deposit of £200 will be required for all apartments. This deposit is taken on arrival to cover any incidentals, accidental damages, additional charges or items that may go missing during your stay. Photographic ID from all guests in your party (either UK Driving License or a valid Passport) is also required for our records only. Your deposit is held and returned to your card and takes 3-5 working days.
You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before your arrival day, after that the cancellation fee is 100% of the reservation charge.
We realise sometimes circumstances can change and if you have booked DIRECTLY with us and have an alternative date you would like to swap your stay to we will endeavour to fulfil your request. This is NOT available through third-party booking agencies. Booking alteration is subject to availability and requires a £50 administration charge.
A booking may only be amended once per guest otherwise all other cancellation policies apply.
Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am.
We offer early check-in from 1:00pm for an additional £50.
Late check-out is available at £50 per hour, up until 2:00pm latest.
Please note that early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. We recommend requesting this in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you require emergency services (Police, Fire, Ambluance), contact them first, before calling us.
If you damage anything in the property, you will be charged to repair the item or replace if beyond repair. This is for fixtures fitting, electronics& decor and sanitary ware and dishwater. This will be deducted of your deposit taken prior to check in. If you see any damage in the rooms upon check in please report this to the number provided in your check in pack or email us and we will note this down for you immediately.
If you take any items from the room such as robes or towels electronics, furniture or artwork, you will be charged in full for taking these items. A full inventory is taken between each booking of these items.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all apartments with internet access codes sent to you upon online check in.
There is no on-site parking at The Sanctuary Knocker. However, pay-and-display parking bays are available on Court Lane, just a short walk from the property.
Additional guests are allowed until 9pm with double the apartment occupancy. So if your room sleeps x2 people, you are allowed an extra x2 guests. if your room sleeps 4x people, you are allowed an extra 4 guests until 10pm.
Sanctuary Knocker apartments are over 2 levels and as we do not have a lift we have limited disabled access.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in any apartment. If we find evidence of smoking or vaping within any apartment (this includes the smell of smoke or vape on any furnishings or decor) a fumigation fee of £200 will be deducted directly from your deposit. Please be advised E-cigarette smoke (vape) will set off the alarms within the building, if we are called to turn the alarm off or reset the full system there is a £50.00 charge.

Your apartment is cleaned daily unless stated otherwise. Housekeeping includes a general clean, along with fresh linen and towel replacement where required.
If you choose to decline housekeeping at the scheduled time, we are unfortunately unable to return later the same day. Service will instead resume at the next scheduled cleaning time on the following day.
Pets are allowed at an additional cost and there will be an increased deposit. To add your pet onto your reservation this can be done via our online check-in form located on your booking confirmation email. Alternatively, you can contact us via call or email to request this.
Guests are required to behave in a responsible manner, respect the apartment and their fellow guests and keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am. This includes causing any sort of nuisance or disruption to fellow guests, use of threatening or abusive behaviour towards a member of staff on the phone, in writing or in person, use of threatening or abusive behaviour to local residents. Guests are not permitted to use the apartment for any illegal or immoral purposes. To ensure a premium finish and protect the apartment interiors, all decorations must be arranged through our approved in-house balloon artist. Bespoke styling packages are available and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability the more notice you leave the better chance of availability for all your requests.
